The Plan sat down with the 2006 Sir James Irwin President’s Medal recipient Geof Nairn.

In part 1 this week Geof tells us how Sir Barton Pope influenced his decision to study architecture, we talk architecture studio culture, we find out about the house he designed for his parents in Walkerville which won him an Award of Merit in 1968 whilst still a graduate, working in Canada for Ron Thom above John Andrew’s office, entering an architectural competition in Paris & earning $13,000 per year.
